Ingredients
Marination
- 1/2 kg prawns
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Rice Preparation
- 2 tbsp oil
- bay leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin
- cardamom
- 8- 10 black pepper
- 3- 4 cloves
- 2-3 green chillies
- chopped ginger garlic
- 4 chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- tomato puree of 4 tomatoes
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- coriander leaves
- 1 cup of peas
- 1 tbsp of garam masala
- 1 glass of soaked basmati rice
- 2 - 3 glass of water
Method
- In a bowl add prawns, salt, red chilli powder & ginger garlic paste and keep it for marination for 1/2 hour
- In a pan add oil and let it heat the add bay leaves, cumin, cardamom, black pepper, cloves, green chillies, ginger garlic, onion, salt and tomato puree
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and coriander leaves once everything is cooked add peas and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the marinated prawns to the masala and garam masala after that add the basmati rice.
- Add water to the mixture and let it cook for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
